Surprise Proposal Photoshoot in Kyoto
Travis and Taylor’s surprise proposal in Kyoto started at 6:30 AM — the perfect time to catch the quiet, empty streets before the city wakes up. I blended in with the tourists, waiting for the right moment. When he finally dropped to one knee, I noticed cameras around and thought he had hired other photographers — but no, it was his family and friends, secretly there to capture it too!
We spent the next two hours walking around Kyoto, stopping at beautiful spots and letting the moments unfold naturally. No stiff posing, just real emotions, laughter, and the magic of the morning.
That’s what I love about proposal and engagement photoshoots in Kyoto — they’re once-in-a-lifetime moments, and I make sure they’re documented in a relaxed, authentic way so you can focus on your story. If you’re planning a proposal or engagement in Japan, I’d love to help capture it.
